Aquaman Sells Out
By B. Jacks

The tide is apparently high for AQUAMAN, as the first issue of the Sea King's new series has sold out at DC Comics only days after its on-sale date of December 11.

"I'm just writing AQUAMAN #6 as we speak," writer Rick Veitch told the Pulse at Comicon.com, "and I can guarantee this story is going places no on expected an AQUAMAN story to ever go. Yvel Guichet and Mark Propst are turning in beautiful work, and Dan Raspler deserves a big round of applause for putting this whole idea and creative team in motion in the first place."

"It's great to see such a strong response to a new take on a classic DC character," says Bob Wayne, DC's VP Sales & Marketing. "The editorial vision for this series is very striking, and as word of mouth spreads, demand for AQUAMAN is only going to increase. Naturally, now's the time to look at your orders for upcoming issues."
