Marvel's Supreme Power #2

Two weeks ago over one hundred thousand copies of J. Michael Stracyznski and Gary Frank's new MAX ongoing series SUPREME POWER started flying off comic shop shelves, and the critical response to the series has been as impressive as its sales.

Making it his "Highly Recommended, Best of the Week" pick, The Fourth Rail's Randy Lander said, "Supreme Power is off to an excellent start, and it marks a high point for the comic book writing of Straczynski and the quality of the loosely-grouped MAX imprint, matching up to its impressive sales numbers with a solid debut."

And just days later both the standard and Special Edition of SUPREME POWER #1 was one of the hottest and hardest to find issues on the floor of the WizardWorld Chicago convention.

Stracyznski and Frank's new series continues in next month's SUPREME POWER #2, which continues the story of Mark Milton, the alien boy at the center of "Project Hyperion" and destined to become of the most powerful and dangerous beings on face of the Earth. But issue #2 also introduces other key cast members, including Corporal Joe "Doctor" Ledger, a covert military operative whose fate will intertwine with Milton, as detailed in the following 4-page preview.

The 32-page SUPREME POWER #2, a Mature Readers series with a cover price of $2.99, hits store shelves on September 10th.
