TERMS OF USE

• By using The Slush Factory, the subscriber agrees to comply with all the terms and conditions within this agreement.

• The Slush Factory reserves the right to amend this document at any time and for any reason.

• All content is property of Slush Factory Entertainment DBA The Slush Factory DBA Slushfactory.com.  This consists of interviews, reviews, columns, news articles, features, and any and all writings by Slush staff members.  The website and all graphics are property of Slush Factory Entertainment.  That is said with the exclusion of proprietary comic book character graphics which are the property of their respective companies.

• Permission must be granted in order for any content to be duplicated, transmitted, distributed, or modified.  This includes reprinting of all content and graphics.  Slush material may not be used for commercial or promotional use unless granted consent by the management of Slush Factory Entertainment.

• Slush Factory Entertainment is not responsible for any content posted on the Slush Message Board Forums.  Slush cannot be held liable for any conversations or transactions that result from users interacting on Slush.  All content that is posted on any of the Slush Message Board Forums becomes property of Slush Factory Entertainment and may be used without prior permission of the poster.  This includes any commercial, promotional, and in-site uses.

• The User of The Slush Factory may not post copyrighted, trademarked, or any proprietary right without the permission of the owner of the owner of the copyrighted, trademarked, or proprietary right owner.  The User may be held liable for any and all legal infractions that may occur on Slushfactory.com through their posting.  The Slush Factory cannot be held liable for any such infractions that occur from a user posting such material.  Any legally-held material posted will be removed by The Slush Factory immediately upon discovery.

• The Slush Factory is not responsible for any outside links that may be posted on Slush through the Message Board Forum or in-site advertising.  Slush makes no claim of relationship to these outside sources and cannot be held accountable for any and all such outside links that appear on The Slush Factory.

• The Slush Factory makes no warranty of service of any kind.  The Slush Factory is provided "as-is" for users and cannot be held liable for any reasons including, but not limited to, computer viruses, transmitted information, mechanical difficulties, and interruptions.

• The Slush Factory, its staffers, sponsors, and providers of equipment, cannot be held liable for any damages pertaining to the operation of Slushfactory.com.

• The Slush Factory makes every effort to ensure the validity of its content.  In an instance of misreporting The Slush Factory will issue a retraction stating the error.  The Slush Factory may not be held liable for any misinformation in any form on this website in the course of its reporting.  If such a case of misreporting is thought to exists it should be brought immediately to the attention of Slush management.  Such instances will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis.

• All copyrighted, trademarked, and proprietary right material used on The Slush Factory is done so within the confines of a media organization.  Artwork and characters proprietarily held outside of Slush are used within the Fair Use laws.  If an issue arises out of the use of proprietarily held material it should be brought immediately to the attention of Slush management.

• In the event that The Slush Factory holds a contest or any "give-a-way" of any kind that the User enters, the User agrees that all information given to Slush may be used for any purpose unless otherwise stated.  The Slush Factory does not sell any information to outside sources but demographic information sent to Slush by the User may be used internally by Slush for any reason.

• Any information sent to The Slush Factory through a letter may be used for any reason unless stated so in the letter.  This includes promotional uses.  By sending a letter to Slush the User agrees to give up all copyrighted claims to the letter and allows Slush to reprint, duplicate, and/or transmit the information in any form.

• Articles, opinions, and views expressed by writers and/or interviewees of The Slush Factory may not constitute those of The Slush Factory.  The Slush Factory may not be held liable for any content written and/or received by its writers.
